Government urges Nepalis in Israel and Iran to take precautions.

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Nepal has urged Nepali nationals in Israel and Iran to adopt precautionary measures, saying it was closely monitoring the evolving situation in the Middle East region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has issued an advisory today urging Israel and Iran to strictly comply with the security directives and information issued by the relevant authorities of Israel.

“Stay at home as much as possible, stay alert, take necessary precautions and stay in regular contact with the Nepali community in your area,” the advisory said. Do not travel unnecessarily without the prior approval of the concerned authority. Keep in regular touch with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kathmandu, the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv and the Embassy of Nepal in Doha. ”

The Ministry has urged Nepali nationals planning to visit Israel or Iran to postpone their travel until the situation returns to normal. The Ministry has urged Nepali citizens living and working in other Middle Eastern countries to take continuous information about the situation there and follow the precautionary measures issued by the concerned countries.
