According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and partly cloudy in the hilly region of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.TAG_OPEN_span_8 Light rain accompanied by thunder and snowfall is taking place at one or two places of the hilly and mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Fog has occurred in some places of the Tarai region.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy in the hilly region towards the afternoon. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and fair in the rest of the country. The weather will be mainly fair in the Tarai region. Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous region of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province and at one or two places of the mountainous region of the rest of the country. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous region of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province.

Similarly, there will be fog in some places of the Tarai region tonight. The weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous region of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi and Gandaki province while it will be fair in the rest of the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain and snowfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

The Division has urged the residents of the areas predicted to witness fog, mist, snowfall and rain as well as to carry out daily activities including operating vehicles in these areas with caution.
