Nepali workers in West Asia urged to stay in regular touch

. KATHMANDU: Nepal Democratic Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs’ Association has urged its workers in the West Asia region to remain in regular contact.

Issuing a press release, Deepak Thapa, central president of the association, said that his serious attention has been drawn to the latest security situation in the West Asia region and urged the workers sent by him to be in regular contact.TAG_OPEN_div_10 He also urged all Nepali brothers and sisters working in the West Asia region to adopt high alertness and fully follow the directives issued by the local administrations of the concerned countries.

The Association has urged the Government of Nepal, Nepali embassies and diplomatic missions abroad to coordinate for the security of their citizens, disseminate regular information and run emergency mechanisms effectively.TAG_OPEN_div_8

Stating that protection of life and safety of Nepali citizens was paramount, Thapa requested all licensed institutions and employer companies in Nepal to take regular information about the condition of their workers on a regular basis.TAG_OPEN_div_6
