. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed the banks and financial institutions (BFIs) to provide banking service on public holidays.

The central bank has urged banks and financial institutions to open their offices on Thursday, March 4, the day of the Holi festival and the election to the House of Representatives.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed the banks to make arrangements for payment and revenue payment by the commercial banks designated for government transactions.

The banks and financial institutions operating bank accounts for the purpose of election publicity would also make arrangements for the payment of cash or cheque of political parties and candidates and other means of exchange.
