Kathmandu. PhonePe officially launched the third edition of its annual campaign “Saksham Nari”. The nationwide campaign, aimed at boosting financial confidence among women through digital financial inclusion, will run from March 1 to March 31, 2026. The campaign aims to inspire women to use the devices with confidence, rather than just restricting them to financial access.
In Nepal, more women today have access to financial services than ever before. But access alone does not ensure empowerment. According to FonePay’s experience, the real difference is not in availability, but in trust, understanding and usage. The ‘Saksham Nari’ campaign focuses on addressing this gap and changing perceptions towards credit and encouraging responsible financial decisions.
This year’s campaign challenges the long-held notion that “credit is scary.” PhonePe has reinvented the credit card as a means to grow, invest and simplify daily living. At the heart of the campaign is a fully virtual PhonePay Credit Card, which can be seamlessly activated through participating banks’ mobile banking app, and transact securely without the need for a physical card.
Commenting on the campaign, Diwas Kumar, CEO, FonePay, said, “True financial inclusion is not just about providing services to people. It gives you the confidence to use these services to improve your life. Through empowered women, we are helping women move from hesitation to self-confidence and from fear to financial independence. ’
The campaign is being implemented in association with Siddhartha Bank Limited, Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited, Kumari Bank Limited, Everest Bank Limited and Garima Bikas Bank. Eligible female customers of the participating banks can activate their FonePay Credit Card and participate by completing a minimum of three transactions during the campaign period. The initiative is open to both new and existing users, with special incentives for first-time users.
As a part of the campaign, FonePay has partnered with Sajuna Jewellers to announce attractive gifts. 5 lucky winners from each participating bank will receive a unique diamond jewellery set. This key gift will only be for new users who activate their FonePay credit card for the first time during the campaign period. Also, 50 lucky winners from each bank will get discount vouchers worth Rs. 5,000. Both new and old users who meet the participation criteria will be eligible for this award.
With ‘Saksham Nari 2026’, FonePay reiterates its commitment towards not only financial access but also financial confidence. The campaign is expected to inspire women across the country to build their own financial future through clarity, control and self-determination.
