Jhapa. Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma cast his vote at a polling booth in Kathmandu. Sharma, who is also a former lawmaker, cast his vote at the polling centre of Kabi Shiromani Secondary School in Mechinagar-9 of Jhapa constituency this morning.
He cast his vote at 7:30 am on Thursday. He urged everyone to vote. “Voting took place early in the morning. This is the most beautiful exercise in democracy. I hope that all the voters in this exercise will use their discretion as much as possible. The voters will give their verdict on the solution of the next country without impulse.
Sharma, who is also the coordinator of the party’s Central Election Mobilization Committee, said the atmosphere in the party was good. “As I am currently casting my vote as a representative of the Nepali Congress party, I have definitely cast my vote on the tree as the election symbol of the Nepali Congress party,” he said. And I hope that the Nepali Congress will win the election as the largest party.
Regarding the atmosphere of the Nepali Congress, he said, “During the election campaign, the atmosphere has been seen in favor of the Nepali Congress as it is going from Dolpa of the Far-West to Solu-Panchthar in the far east, from Manang to Mahottari of Madhes.” In this exercise, I would like to appeal to the political parties to cooperate in an atmosphere of harmony and fearlessness so that everyone can vote without impulse and excitement anywhere in the country. u
