Kathmandu. Voting is underway across the country for the election of the members of the House of Representatives.
Voting began at 7 am.
A total of 10,65,012 votes were cast across the country till 10 am today. According to the Election Commission, about 6 percent of the votes were cast.
50 per cent voter turnout recorded in Dolpa
30 per cent voter turnout till 1 pm in Makwanpur
Around 50 per cent voter turnout till 1 pm in Rupandehi
The president and vice president abstained from voting.
29.55 per cent voter turnout recorded till 1 pm in Mong
41.04 per cent voter turnout was recorded in Jhapa district.
