Kathmandu. About 32 lakh votes were cast across the country in a span of five hours.
A total of 31,90,088 votes were cast till 12:00 pm. This is 16.88 percent of the total voters. The highest voter turnout of 25.55 per cent was recorded in Kathmandu Valley.
The lowest voter turnout was recorded in Madhes Province at 10.46 per cent.
