Kathmandu. According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer, an average of 50 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 1 pm in Rupandehi. According to the District Election Commission, voting is taking place in a peaceful environment in all the five polling centres of Rupandehi district.
As many as 52 per cent voter turnout were recorded in some constituencies, according to Chief Election Officer Ashok Kumar Basnet. He said that there was enthusiastic participation in the voting.
