Kathmandu. A total of 42 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 2 pm in the ongoing election in Kanchanpur district. Out of total 314,385 voters in the district, 131,577 cast their votes, according to the Election Office.

Constituency No. Out of a total of 101,724 voters, 42,912 votes were cast. Of them, 22,527 were female and 20,385 were male.

Similarly, Constituency No. Out of a total of 109,574 voters, 47,045 votes were cast in Constituency 2. Of them, 24,945 are female and 22,100 are male.

Constituency No. Out of a total of 103,087 voters, 41,620 votes were cast in Ward No. 3. A total of 22,321 women and 19,299 men cast their votes.

According to the administration, voting was going on peacefully in the polling stations across the district.
