41.89 per cent drop in Dolakha: Voting boycotted in Beding, Malu postponed

Kathmandu. Dolakha district recorded 41.89 per cent voter turnout.

According to the Election Commission, 41.89 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 3 pm in various constituencies of Dolakha.

Locals boycotted the election at the polling centre in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9 of Dolakha district.

Likewise, voting has been postponed due to dispute at Malu polling centre in Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-4 of Dolakha district. Voting has not yet begun.

Police fired in the air following a dispute in the area. The polling officer is now in police custody. Locals had threatened to manhandle the polling staff.
