Counting of votes in all 10 constituencies of Kathmandu begins today

Kathmandu. According to preliminary estimates, 60 to 65 per cent voter turnout was recorded in Kathmandu district in the election held today.

Chief Election Officer of Kathmandu, Churaman Khadka, said that the voting was completed peacefully till 5:00 pm in all the centers and it is estimated that around 60-65 per cent voting was cast.

He said it would take some time to confirm the votes cast. Chief Election Officer Khadka said the ballot boxes would be collected at the respective election officers’ offices within two hours and then the counting process would begin.
