Still. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in the Tanahun House of Representatives election from constituency-1.

According to Chief Election Officer Bishnu Prasad Upadhyay, Dr Swarnim Wagle of the Rastriya Janajatantra Party (RSP) has garnered 2,928 votes.

Likewise, Govinda Bhattarai of the Nepali Congress has 1,657 votes and Bhagawati Neupane of the CPN (UML) has 1,101 votes. Likewise, Bidhyanath Dhakal of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) secured 323 votes and Ram Dutta Joshi of Rastriya Prajatantra Party got 86 votes.

A total of 6,234 votes out of 6,566 votes were cast in Devghat Rural Municipality in this constituency.

Of the total 126,882 voters in the constituency, 68,129 votes were cast. A total of 16 candidates including various political parties and independents are in the fray.
