Karnali. SURKHET: Counting of votes for the House of Representatives election has begun in Surkhet district. Khadka garnered 798 votes out of 1,987 votes cast in constituency no. 1.
Similarly, Tek Bahadur Singh of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 545 votes, CPN-UML’s Dhruba Kumar Shahi got 427 votes and Jit Bahadur Rana of Nepali Communist Party got 77 votes.
Similarly, UML’s Kulmani Devkota is leading in Constituency-2. He got 316 votes out of 781 votes counted. Narayan Kumar Koirala of Nepali Congress got 218 votes, Ramesh Kumar Sapkota of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 127 votes and Jhak Bahadur Malla of Nepali Communist Party got 107 votes.
