Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The candidates of the Rastriya Swatantra Party are leading in all the 9 constituencies in Kathmandu today.

In Kathmandu-2, Sunil KC of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) has been elected as the mayor with 5,897 votes. Her closest rival was NC’s Kabir Sharma who got 2,206 votes while Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Kunti Devi Pokharel got 1,469 votes.

Similarly, Rastriya Samajbadi Party (RSP) candidate Rajunath Pandey is leading in Kathmandu-3 with 6,584 votes. His nearest rival Kulman Ghising of Ujjyalo Nepal garnered 4,220 votes while his nearest rival Ramesh Aryal of Nepali Congress got 2,190 votes.

In Kathmandu-4, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP)’s Pukar Bam is leading with 6,284 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Sachin Timilsina who got 1,907 votes while his nearest rival Rajan Bhattarai of CPN-UML got 1,479 votes.

Similarly, Sasmit Pokharel of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) is leading in Kathmandu-5 with 11,433 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Pradip Poudel who got 3,556 votes and UML’s Ishwar Pokharel got 1,908 votes.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP)’s Shishir Khanal is leading in Kathmandu-6 with 10,615 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Sabuj Krishna Baniya Chhetri who got 2,775 votes while CPN-UML’s Aman Kumar Maskey got 1,612 votes.

Ganesh Parajuli of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) is leading in Kathmandu-7 with 10,273 votes. In the constituency, Prakash Shrestha of CPN-UML has got 1,672 votes and Basanta Prasad Manandhar of Nepali Communist Party has got 1,389 votes.

In Kathmandu-8, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of Rastriya Samajwadi Party has secured 14,751 votes. Suman Sayami of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) got 1,995 votes and Sapana Rajbhandari of the Nepali Congress got 1,645 votes.

Likewise, Dol Prasad Aryal is leading in Kathmandu-9 with 5,559 votes. NC’s Nanu Maiya Bastola has garnered 1,116 votes while UML’s Ajay Kranti Shakya has 970 votes.

Pradeep Bista of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) is leading in Kathmandu-10 with 8,508 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Himal Karki who got 2,056 votes and UML’s Binod Shrestha got 1,221 votes.

Earlier, Ranju Neupane of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) had won the election from Kathmandu-1 with 15,455 votes.
