According to the final results, he has been elected. According to Chief Election Officer Ram Prasad Poudel, Gurung won the election with 2415 votes.
Her nearest rival was NC’s Yashoda Subedi Gurung who got 454 votes. Likewise, Ram Bahadur Ghale of National Mongol Organization got 9 votes.
