Kathmandu. Ganesh Parajuli of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) has been elected from Kathmandu-7. Parajuli garnered 27,805 votes.

His nearest rival was NC’s Pramod Hari Guragain who got 3,982 votes. Parajuli defeated Guragain by a margin of 23,823 votes.

Similarly, Basanta Prasad Manandhar of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) came third with 3,667 votes and Prakash Shrestha of CPN (UML) got 3,544 votes. Bimala Lama of Ujjyalo Nepal Party got 1,383 votes and Lal Kumar Lama of Rastriya Prajatantra Party got 1,381 votes.
