Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party has so far won in 34 constituencies in the ongoing elections to the House of Representatives. As per the results of 12:30 am, the candidates of the RSP are leading in 84 constituencies.

Santosh Rajbanshi has been elected from Morang-4, Rubina Acharya from Morang-6, Manish Jha from Dhanusha-3, Pramod Kumar Mahato from Mahottari-1, Arbind Sah from Bara-3 and Buddhi Prasad Pant from Parsa-1.

Likewise, Ranju Neupane has been elected to the post of Kathmandu 1, Sunil KC of Kathmandu 2, Rajunath Pandey of Kathmandu 3, Pukar Bam of Kathmandu 4, Sasmit Pokharel of Kathmandu 5, Shishir Khanal of Kathmandu 6, Ganesh Parajuli of Kathmandu 7, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of Kathmandu 8, Dol Prasad Aryal of Kathmandu 9, Pradip Bista of Kathmandu 10 and Rukesh Ranjit of Bhaktapur 1.

Similarly, party President Rabi Lamichhane in Chitwan-2, Sulav Kharel in Rupandehi-2 and Dr. Rabi Lamichhane in Rupandehi-3. Lekhjung Thapa, Kanhaiya Baniya of Rupandehi-4, Rahbar Ansari of Bara-4, Sushil Kumar Kanu of Parsa-2, Uttam Prasad Poudel of Kaski 2, Bina Gurung of Kaski 3, Dhananjaya Regmi of Syangja-1, Sagar Bhusal of Parbat-1, Suresh Kumar Chaudhary of Banke-1, Khagendra Sunar of Banke-3, Sushil Khadka of Baglung-1 and Som Sharma of Baglung-2. Komal Gyawali has been elected from Kailali-1 and Govinda Panthi from Gulmi-2.

Nepali Congress has won in 6 constituencies. Likewise, NC’s Tek Bahadur Gurung, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali in Mustang-1 and Basana Thapa in Dailekh-1 have been elected to the post of Chairperson of Dailekh-1. The Nepali Congress is leading in 10 seats.

CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been elected from Rukum (East) constituency-1. Likewise, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has been elected from Kalikot-1. NCP candidates are leading in 9 constituencies in the ongoing vote counting.

CPN-UML has won from Banke constituency-1 while Ain Bahadur Mahar has won from Bajhang-1. UML candidates are leading in 8 constituencies.

Independent candidate Mahabir Pun has been elected from Myagdi Constituency-1. He was supported by the Rastriya Swatantra Party. The candidates of the Labour and Culture Party are leading in 4 places while the candidates of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party are leading in one place.
