Arghakhanchi. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Hari Prasad Bhusal has been elected to the House of Representatives from Arghakhanchi.

According to Chief Election Officer Shivalal Pandey, Bhusal got 35,023 votes.

In the constituency, CPN-UML’s Pitambar Bhusal got 22,649 votes, Nepali Congress’ Bishnu Prasad Khanal (Muskan) got 18,297 votes and Ram Bahadur Chauhan of Nepali Communist Party got 3,847 votes.

Of the total 171,652 voters in Arghakhanchi, 86,668 votes were cast.
