Morang. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Yagya Mani Neupane has won the House of Representatives election from Morang-1.

According to the final election results released by the election office of Morang-1, Neupane garnered 27,367 votes.

His nearest rival was left alliance’s Narayan Kaji Shrestha who got 17,522 votes.

Nepali Congress candidate Khadga Bahadur Phago got 11,986 votes while CPN-UML candidate Ghanashyam Khatiwada got 9,823 votes. Of the total 128,545 voters in the constituency, 77,585 votes were cast.
