NCP’s Malla wins in Salyan

Kathmandu. Ramesh Kumar Malla of Nepali Communist Party (NCP)

has been elected as the member of the House of Representatives from Salyan.

According to the Election Commission, Malla got 23,189 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Lalit Bahadur Chand who got 20,904 votes and NC’s Kesh Bahadur Bista got 17,558 votes.

Likewise, Gulab Jung Shah of CPN-UML got 15,373 votes. A total of 14 candidates including major political parties and independent candidates were in the fray in the district. There were a total of 162,444 voters in the district.
