Mahendranagar. Kanchanpur – Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have won the House of Representatives election from all three constituencies in Kanchanpur.
Janak Singh Dhami of Rastriya Janajatantra Party (RSP) has been elected from Kanchanpur-1. He garnered 24,332 votes, according to the Office of the Returning Officer. Nepali Communist Party (NCP) candidate Bina Magar got 11,110 votes while Nepali Congress candidate Gopi Prasad Upadhyay got 8,467 votes.
Likewise, CPN-UML’s Tara Lama Tamang garnered 8,088 votes. A total of 61,074 votes were cast in Kanchanpur-1.
Similarly, in Kanchanpur-2, Dipak Raj Bohara of Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) won with a huge margin. He defeated Narayan Prakash Saud of Nepali Congress.
Bohara garnered 33,952 votes while his nearest rival Saud garnered 10,827 votes, according to election officer Prakash Bhandari. Similarly, CPN-UML’s Bachan Bahadur Singh got 6,418 votes and Madhav Pant of Nepali Communist Party got 6,337 votes. A total of 65,347 votes were cast here.
Similarly, in Kanchanpur-3, Gyanendra Singh Mahata of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSS) won with 27,118 votes.
NC’s Hari Prasad Bohara garnered 9,443 votes while CPN-UML’s Deepak Prakash Bhatta garnered 7,575 votes. A total of 58,361 votes were cast in Kanchanpur-3.
