Jhapa. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the elections to the House of Representatives from Jhapa.
Nisha Dangi of Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) was elected from Jhapa-1 with 45,680 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Keshav Raj Pandey who got 10,550 votes.
In Jhapa-2, Indira Rana Magar of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) was elected with 60,110 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Devraj Ghimire who got 11,368 votes.
Similarly, Prakash Pathak of Rastriya Samajwadi Party won from Jhapa-3 with 38,674 votes. His nearest rival was RPP’s Rajendra Prasad Lingden who got 17,294 votes.
Shambhu Prasad Dhakal of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) won the election in Jhapa-4 with 43,631 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Lal Prasad Sawa Limbu who got 11,916 votes.
Likewise, Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) senior leader Balendra Shah was elected from Jhapa-5 with 68,348 votes. His nearest rival was CPN-UML’s KP Sharma Oli who got 18,734 votes, according to the Office of the Chief Returning Officer.
