Head. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Bablu Gupta has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Siraha-1. He garnered 41,333 votes to win the election, according to the Office of the Chief Election Officer.

His nearest rival Ram Sundar Chaudhary of Nepali Congress got 9,784 votes. CPN-UML’s Ram Shankar Yadav got 7,866 votes. Ram Chandra Yadav of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) received 2,853 votes while Satya Narayan Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) got 2,285 votes.

Newly elected MP Gupta was the outgoing Minister for Youth and Sports.
