Kathmandu. The sky is forecast to remain unopened in many parts of the country until Tuesday.

Meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane said there is possibility of light rain in some places of Bagmati province today. At present, there is partial influence of the system of high pressure system in the atmosphere of the country and of low atmosphere near the eastern part.

“The weather system will be cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region of the country for the next few days while light rain and snowfall are likely in some places,” Lamichhane said.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces tonight while it will be partially cloudy in the rest of the country. Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places of the Bagmati province.
