Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested eight persons in possession of banned drugs and medicines from different parts of the country.

According to the Central Police News Room, they were arrested from Mangalbare of Pathari Sanischare municipality-8 in Morang, New Manakamana Guest House in Ghorahi sub-metropolis-14 of Dang, Chatakpur of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-3 of Kailali and Syaula Chowk of Krishnapur municipality-2 of Kanchanpur.

Likewise, three persons including Man Bahadur Darji were arrested from Mangalbar of Pathari Sanischare municipality-8, two from New Manakamana Guest House at Ghorahi-14, Aman Rana, 23, from Chatakpur, Dhangadhi-3 and Kuber Shahi, 25, from Syaule Chowk in Krishnapur-2. Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
