Kathmandu. The Accountability Monitoring Committee has demanded that the report of the probe commission on September 7 and 24 be made public immediately.

Releasing the entire report of the commission, the committee has demanded the government to respect the rights of the victims’ communities, civil society, media and the general public to be informed.

Issuing a press release today, Committee Coordinator Raju Prasad Chapagain demanded that the report be made public immediately.

“Whether to make the report public or not is not in the government’s discretion, it is the constitutionally guaranteed right of the general public to know about the report and it is the responsibility of the government to bring the investigation report to the public at the earliest,” the statement reads. ”
