Kathmandu. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar today.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed Nepal-China relations as well as various matters of mutual cooperation. The Minister also wished for the success of Ambassador Zhang’s tenure and expressed the belief that the relations between the two countries would reach to a new height.

On the occasion, Minister Aryal expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by China for Nepal’s socio-economic development and expressed confidence that such support would be extended in the days ahead. He pointed out the need of cooperation and cooperation in areas such as telecommunications and cybercrime.

The Chinese Ambassador thanked the Government of Nepal for successfully conducting the general elections. He also pledged to make every possible effort to strengthen the mutual relations.
