Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his commitment to the people and service would not be lacking even if the election results are not in his favour.

After the announcement of the final result of the House of Representatives election today, Oli, who is also the former Prime Minister, admitted through social media that he could not get the expected result in this election, clarifying that the final verdict in democracy would be that of the people.

He also thanked all the voters who voted in favour of the UML by voting in the sun symbol. “People’s trust is our strength. Your support is our strength”, he said, adding, “We will remain among the people, will continue working for the people and will move ahead further consolidating the relation of trust.” ’’
