Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A secretariat meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is taking place today to recommend candidates for the proportional representation (PR) category for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives.

Party Spokesperson Manish Jha said that the meeting is taking place as per the directive of party President Rabi Lamichhane. “The time and place of the meeting has not been fixed,” he said.

The meeting is also scheduled to discuss the party’s statute amendment and miscellaneous issues to pave the way for senior leader Balendra Shah to become the prime minister.
