Kathmandu. The CPN-UML has submitted the list of candidates for the proportional representation (PR) category to the Election Commission.

The UML has submitted a list of 16 candidates to the Election Commission. A meeting of the CPN-UML Secretariat held on Saturday had finalized the names of 16 lawmakers to be elected under the proportional representation system.

The 16 candidates are Bhumika Subba and Ganga Devi Shrestha from indigenous and female category. Likewise, Ram Bahadur Thapa Magar and Kul Bhakta Shakya are in men’s category.

Padma Aryal, Tukabhadra Hamal and Eshuda Kumari Baral are in the Khas Arya category.

Similarly, Guru Prasad Baral and Pushpa Raj Kandel are in the men’s category. Similarly, Kriparam Rana (male) from Tharu category and Bishnu Maya BK and Neeta Ghatani (male) from Dalit women.

Ringla Yadav in Madhesi women’s category, Yashoda Kumari Yadav in male category Chandreshwor Mandal and Muslim woman Sajida Siddiqui in women’s category.
