Kathmandu. At present, there is partial influence of the westerly low pressure system in the country.

The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region and partly cloudy in the rest of the country at present. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region including Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Likewise, moderate rain ÷ snowfall along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous region of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces÷ and at a few places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain or thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim province and at one or two ÷places of the hilly region of the rest of the country. Light rain will occur ÷in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly and terai areas tonight. Light rain or thundershower is likely to occur at a few places of the mountainous region of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at one or two places of ÷the mountainous region÷ and at one or two places of the rest of the mountainous regions. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division÷ there is the possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places of the hilly region of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
