Nepal Party demands immediate unveiling of Karki commission report

. The party has demanded that the government immediately make public the report of the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led probe commission formed to investigate the developments related to the Genji movement.

Issuing a press release today, NC Spokesperson Dr Raju Thapa put forth a five-point demand, including the immediate disclosure of the report.TAG_OPEN_div_10 The party has demanded to make public the deadline and clear official information about the delay in making the report public.

} Likewise, it has demanded that the responsible parties immediately take forward the fair, transparent and lawful process based on the findings and recommendations of the report. The party has demanded the government to take necessary decision so that the victims, injured, families of the deceased and the affected communities feel truth, justice and reparations.

According to the party, the lack of publication of the report will increase confusion, suspicion and dissatisfaction at the civic level and weaken trust in the state.TAG_OPEN_div_6
