Kathmandu. Ravi Lamichhane has urged his MPs not to conduct a media trial on the issue of making them ministers. He said this while speaking at an orientation program organized by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

He made it clear that responsibilities would be distributed on the basis of capacity and expertise of the party members and urged all not to create unnecessary pressure. “We know what you are experts about and the appointments will be made accordingly,” he said.

Stating that people from different backgrounds have joined the party less than four years since the establishment of the RSP, Lamichhane said all should take their responsibility seriously. Stating that there were members with diverse image and experience in the party, he opined that the party should be utilized positively.

He also directed the lawmakers to focus on fulfilling the responsibilities given to them by the people without worrying about the majority or number of the government.
