Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A horse festival was held at Army Pavilion, Tundikhel today.
President Ram Chandra Poudel, Vice President Ram Sahaya Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, other high-ranking officials and diplomats observed the ceremony.
On the occasion of this famous Jatra celebrated in the Kathmandu Valley, the Cavalry of Nepal Army performed horse races and horse art as well as various performances by dogs of Bhairav Vahan Battalion.
The winners of various competitions were also awarded on the occasion. This festival is celebrated every year on the day of Chaitra Krishna Aunsi.
