‘Election has made democratic exercise successful’: PM Karki

Kathmandu. Kathmandu, March 4: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed gratitude to all the employees, security personnel and the general public for their role in making the elections to the House of Representatives held on March 4 successful.

PM Oli’s press advisor Ram Bahadur Rawal said that he reached Karnali today and thanked all for their support in the election. Karki had reached Karnali during her pre-election inspection tour.

Prime Minister Karki has reached Rara of Mugu district this morning. There, he interacted with the security chiefs at the district level. She then went to Khalanga of Jumla and interacted with district-level security chiefs. On the occasion, he praised the security bodies and employees for holding the elections with effective coordination and commitment despite limited resources and difficult geography.

On the occasion, President Bhandari also met and interacted with the locals and thanked them for their unity, goodwill and cooperation in making the elections a peaceful and successful one. “The country has made the democratic exercise a success even in difficult circumstances. ’

On the occasion, PM Karki inspected the Karnali Technical Academy, Jumla. Established in 2037 BS, the institute is regarded as one of the first technical schools of Nepal. Students, teachers and locals welcomed the PM by presenting rhododendrons to the Prime Minister.

The main purpose of PM Karki’s visit is to express gratitude for the successful conclusion of the elections and for the people’s support to the government in short tenure, Rawal said.
