Kathmandu. Balendra Shah will be sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal on March 26.
The top leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has decided to take oath as the Prime Minister on March 23 after the new lawmaker was sworn in on March 26.
The Election Commission (EC) has submitted its report to President Ram Chandra Poudel on Thursday. Accordingly, the President will summon the meeting of the House of Representatives and move ahead with the swearing-in process. According to the constitution, Balen will lead the government as the parliamentary party leader of the party with a majority as the RSP has secured nearly two-thirds of the votes in the election. Before the election, the RSP had fielded Balen for the post of Prime Minister.
