Man arrested with Rs 20 lakh cash in Parsa

Kathmandu. The Armed Police Force (APF) Parsa has arrested a person with Rs 2 million in cash from Birgunj. The Armed Police Force (APF) arrested Binaya Shankar Sah Turaha riding a motorbike (BR 05 BK 8603) en route to Nepal from India during a security check at the customs gate at Birgunj metropolis-16 today.

According to Mohan Niraula, information officer at the Armed Police Force (APF), Parsa, the motorcyclist had hidden the money in the seatcover of the motorcycle.

The recovered amount has been handed over to the Birgunj Customs Office for further investigation, according to the Armed Police Force. Police also confiscated an identity card with Birgunj Customs Agents Association Parsa written on it from the person.
