Armed Police Force (APF) personnel including the APF battalion at Khakraula have been sent to the district headquarters for their alleged negligence in security

. The commander of the Armed Police Force Nepal Border Security Company at Khakraula of Kailali, including Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Force Pradip Poudel, has been brought to the Armed Police Force Nepal Headquarters in Kathmandu.

They have been summoned to the headquarters for action after they were found to have been negligent in unit security and investigation into the incident related to the seizure of goods being smuggled from India on March 14.

APF Spokesperson Bishnu Prasad Bhatta said that the APF headquarters has started a serious investigation into the incident when some groups of smugglers entered the APF office unauthorizedly and tried to manhandle the battalion.TAG_OPEN_div_16
