Kathmandu. There is some influence of westerly as well as local winds in the country at present. The hilly and mountainous areas of the country including Koshi Province are generally cloudy.

On Wednesday, there will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and fair in the rest of the country. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region tonight. There will be partly cloudy in the Tarai region. Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur in the hilly and mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. The Division has urged the general public to adopt precaution towards possible risks of rainfall, lightning and snowfall.
