. KATHMANDU: A meeting of the central committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is taking place at the party’s central office at Banasthali this afternoon.

Joint General Secretary Bipin Acharya said that the meeting has been called to elect senior leader Balendra Shah as the PP leader.

He said that the meeting will be held after the swearing-in of the newly elected members of the House of Representatives. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP) had proposed Shah as the next prime minister in the election to the House of Representatives.
