Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Bar Association (NBA) has expressed its disagreement over the report of the Inquiry Commission, 2082 BS on the incident of September 7 and 24. The Bar has called a meeting of the advisory committee at 1:30 pm today for mentioning the issues of the judiciary in an objectionable manner in the report.
Kedar Prasad Koirala, general secretary of the Bar Association, said, “We disagree with the report that has a negative impact on the society towards the judiciary and legal profession. There will be a serious discussion among the lawyers in this regard. The report also mentions the need to remove anomalies and anomalies including fee of lawyers to make justice accessible and to save justice from becoming a lawyer’s paradise.
“It is said that the general public does not have access to justice and Nepali citizens are not in a position to get justice in an easy way. Justice has become a distant matter for those who do not have access and money. The lawyers who have to argue on behalf of the parties are so expensive that they collect thousands even if they write a simple petition, the report said.
