Kathmandu. Nepal Police have arrested former Home Minister and Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak and kept him at Battalion No 2 Maharajgunj.
He was arrested from his residence at Katunje of Bhaktapur this morning. He has been kept at Battalion No 2, Maharajgunj, according to the family source.
According to the police, he was arrested in connection with the implementation of the recommendation given by the commission led by former Justice Gauri Bahadur Karki.
He had been living in a rented house at Katunje of Suryabinayak Municipality-5 after his private house was destroyed by fire during the Zenji agitation.
