. The government has decided to form a high-level probe committee within a week to investigate the incidents that took place on September 24 during the Zenji movement.

The government has decided to give the mandate to the committee to collect, analyze all the details related to the incident and identify the responsible parties and submit the report within the stipulated timeframe.TAG_OPEN_div_14

The government’s agenda on governance reform states that necessary further action will be taken on the basis of the recommendations. Based on the report of the Gauri Bahadur Karki Commission formed to investigate facts about the incidents that took place during the agitation, necessary investigation, action and prosecution will be initiated against the guilty persons and parties as per the prevailing law.

} Integrated initiatives will be taken for justice, rehabilitation and restoration of the families and citizens affected by the incidents during the Jenji movement.

It is stated in the agenda that a package of employment in the government, public and private sectors as per the qualifications will be announced within a hundred days to ensure dignified rehabilitation, livelihood security and social protection by collecting and verifying the data of the martyr’s families and the injured under the initiative.TAG_OPEN_div_8
