Chairman of Hetauda Cement Bhandari resigns

Kathmandu. Narendra Bhandari, chairman of the board of directors of Hetauda Cement Industry Limited, has resigned from his post on Tuesday.

He said he resigned from the post to make it easier for the new government to function. He said that it has been forwarded to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies today. Bhandari was appointed to the post for a term of three years as per the decision of the Council of Ministers on June 8, 2081.

Chairman Bhandari said that the industry is currently in the process of producing clinker and selling cement despite old machinery, technical limitations and financial constraints to strengthen the industry during his tenure.
