Kathmandu. The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an order to the government to furnish reasons for the arrest of former home minister Ramesh Lekhak.
A single bench of Justice Kumar Regmi issued the order in the name of the government.
The writer’s wife Yashoda had filed a habeas corpus application at the court on Sunday, claiming that her husband has been kept in illegal detention. The writer was arrested by the police on Saturday morning.
