Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is influence of westerly as well as local wind in the country at present.

As a result, there is generally cloudy in the hilly region including Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces while it is partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

Likewise, moderate rain and snowfall is taking place at some places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, Lumbini and Koshi, Gandaki provinces and at a few places of the country.

The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy in the Tarai region towards the afternoon. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain or snowfall along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, and at a few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. The weather will be mainly fair in the hilly and terai region. There are chances of light rain and snowfall at one or two places of the mountainous region of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the hilly and mountainous region of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki, Lumbini Province and Karnali Province and at one or two places of the mountainous region of Sudurpaschim Province.
