Kathmandu. NASA’s Artemis 2 astronauts flew to the Moon from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Friday. This is the first trip to the moon in fifty years in human history.
After spending 25 hours around the Earth, they headed for the moon. It has liberated humans from the Earth’s near-Earth orbit and sent them four million kilometers away to the moon.
“This is the first time since 1972 that humans have passed outside Earth’s orbit,” the NASA director said at a press conference. ”
The Canadian astronaut said, “We were all watching the strange sight through the capsule’s window, leaving the Earth behind. This experience is unforgettable. ”
The Artemis-2 test flight marks the beginning of NASA’s big plans for the future. This will pave the way for long-term habitat and preparation for human settlement on the moon. The commander, the pilot, and two other astronauts fly around the moon and return. In the process, they will break the distance record of the Apollo missions and can achieve the fastest speed on re-entry.
