Kathmandu. The Biratnagar office of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has revoked the license of two money changer companies. The license of two companies — Amrit Laxmi Money Changer Pvt Ltd Morang and Super Fine Money Changer Pvt Ltd Biratnagar — has been scrapped.
According to the bank, the license could not be renewed within the stipulated time (within three months from the expiry date) as per the provision made in the sub-regulation (3) of By-law 19 of the Money Changer License and Inspection Bylaw-2077 (with fourth amendment).
