. A meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament is taking place today.

The House of Representatives will meet at 1 pm today. The meeting has agenda to table three ordinances seeking approval.

General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Padma Prasad Pandey said Home Minister Sudhan Gurung is likely to present the proposal seeking approval of the voters’ list (first amendment) ordinance, 2082, election to the members of the House of Representatives (first amendment) ordinance, 2082 and Nepal Special Service (second amendment) ordinance, 2082.

Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly is taking place at 12:15 pm today. National Assembly member Prem Prasad Dangal had presented a proposal seeking her election to the post of Vice-Chairperson of the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah is likely to present the 24th annual report of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for the fiscal year 2080/81 BS in the meeting.
